How It Works

What is VibeCheck?

Opinion polling to capture the national mood. We ask Britain questions — some binary (Yes/No), some multi-choice — and show you how the country thinks in real time.

How do I vote?

Tap your answer. Binary questions: Yes or No. Multi-choice: pick from the options. No account needed to vote. Sign in to unlock vote history, demographics, predictions, and groups.

What types of questions are there?

Binary questions have two options (Yes/No). Multi-choice questions have several options — e.g. "Who will win the next election?" with party choices. Both show the current split and how it's trending.

What are the graphs and bars?

We track how opinions change over time. Sparklines show momentum; the main bar shows the current split. Multi-choice questions show a bar per option with percentages.

What are demographics?

See how different groups vote — by age, region, and political leaning. Add your demographics in your profile to get personalised "You vs Britain" comparisons.

Is my vote anonymous?

Yes. We never show individual votes. Your demographic data is aggregated and never linked to your identity.

What feeds and pages are there?

Home has categories (Politics, Sport, Culture, Chaos) and sort options (Trending, Popular, New). Nation Divided surfaces questions where Britain disagrees most. Closing Soon shows questions about to resolve. Archive holds resolved questions. Weekly Pulse is our auto-generated weekly briefing.

How are questions chosen?

Mix of editorial picks and community submissions. Submit your own from the menu. We look for clear, answerable questions that Britain cares about.

When do questions resolve?

Time-bound questions close on their end date. Ongoing questions stay open. Resolved questions move to the archive where you can see the outcome and prediction accuracy.
